RULES OF ENTRY
The WGA is open to all stakeholders in the gem and jewelry industry and related sectors. Participants may nominate themselves or others, with up to three entries allowed per company. All submissions must be in English, completed using official entry forms, and include supporting materials within the specified timeframe. Entries must follow ethical and legal standards, and incomplete or late submissions may be disqualified.
The Awards Committee may request additional information, and all judging decisions are final. By entering, nominees agree to participate in promotional activities and grant BWIO-UK the right to use submitted materials for publicity. The Committee reserves the right to disqualify, amend rules, or modify categories as required.

Eligible companies are allowed to enter a maximum of three (3) Award categories. Submissions must include a clear timeframe (Please refer the Website)
Language Requirement
Entries must be submitted in English. Supporting materials, such as videos in other languages, should include English subtitles.
Submission Format
Submissions must be completed using the official online/hard entry form provided by the Awards Committee. Any incomplete or late entries may be disqualified. (Please refer the Website)
Ethical Standards
All entries must adhere to ethical and legal standards, respecting intellectual property rights and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Additional Information
The Awards Committee reserves the right to request additional information or clarification from the nominees, if needed.
Final Decision
The decision of the judging panel is final and binding. No correspondence or discussion regarding the judging process or decision will be entertained.
Promotional Participation
Finalists and Winners may be requested to participate in promotional activities related to the Awards, including a panel discussion series during world Gem awards interviews, press releases and social media campaigns.
Media Rights
By submitting an entry, nominees grant BWIO-UK permission to use it for promotional, publication and publicity purposes. If photos and videos are submitted, nominees agree that BWIO- UK has the right to publish/upload them without charge, while submitters retain responsibility for any copyright fees and usage rights.
Disqualification
The Awards Committee reserves the right to disqualify any entry that violates the rules, contains false information or is deemed inappropriate or irrelevant to the Awards’ objectives.
Rule Changes
The Awards Committee reserves the right to modify or cancel any category or change the rules if circumstances require it, with prior notice to the participants. Participation in the Awards implies acceptance of all rules and conditions stated by the Awards Committee.

An independent, robust, transparent and intellectually rigorous judging process honours outstanding individuals and exceptional companies that make significant contributions and have a positive impact in the world of jewellery and gemstones.

Organised by BWIO – United Kingdom, WGA is one of the most respected awards among the international jewellery and gemstone community. WGA promotes innovation, excellence, best practices, genuine leadership, and the advancement of sustainability, for the betterment of all.

Yes, you may. However, please make sure to provide all the required details of the nominee, including their business registration number, and submit supporting materials that effectively demonstrate the tangible and positive impact resulting from their sustainability initiatives.
6. Can I nominate a company or project that has previously won a Sustainability Award from other organisers?
Yes, you may. Please ensure the entry meets the eligibility criteria and aligns with the specific category requirements.
7. How do I submit my entry?
Use the online entry form. Upload all supporting documents/materials and provide your contact details, including your office address, for confirmation of receipt. Please note that there is a maximum file size limit of 5MB per file, and exceeding this limit may cause issues with processing your entry.
8. Can I provide information in languages other than English?
WGA values and celebrates diverse cultures and languages. As a global award, we invite experts from various countries and regions to join our judging panel. To ensure a smooth judging process, all entrants are required to submit their materials in English. Please note that if the supporting materials are not in English and do not include English translations (or subtitles for videos), they may regrettably not be accepted by the judging panel.

The Jury Panel of The World Gem Award is an eclectic mix of individuals with long standing professional experience across fields of Gems and jewellery, fashion, media, business and entertainment. The diverse background of the panelists brings in an unbiased and balanced judgment on the designs. The Jury Panel for the awards will be disclosed after the Grand Jury Meet.
16. When are the winners announced?
The winners of the World Gem Awards are kept strictly confidential and will be announced at the award ceremony and it will be publish in the website after the award ceremony. All nominees, finalists and other industry stakeholders are invited to attend the award ceremony.

Yes, all Finalists will be invited (Only one invitation for the Winner, Extra Tickets can purchase on request)
